Second Helping: The Original Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band
The 2025 Downtown Clayton Concert Series continues Thursday, July 24, with a performance by Second Helping: The Original Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band. This free, family-friendly concert takes place at Town Square. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM, with the concert kicking off at 6:30 PM.
Second Helping has been paying tribute to the legendary sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd since 1988, delivering spot-on renditions of Southern rock classics like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Simple Man,” and, of course, “Free Bird.” Their high-energy performances and authentic sound have earned them fans across the country.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for this open-air show. The evening will also feature food trucks, adult beverages, and fun activities for children, offering something for the whole family to enjoy.
The concert series is presented by Brightspeed Fiber Internet, with generous support from E & K Construction, My Propane Butler, Spinning Mill Lofts, Universal Chevrolet, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, and The Clayton Center.
