Enjoy family-friendly activities during the Square-to-Square Street Festival, which include a bike parade at 6 p.m. in front of Horne Square and a fire truck spray down at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Church and Main Streets. Interactive games, inflatables, illusions, and a rock-climbing wall are also on the docket.
Town council members plan to serve free slices of watermelon, a Clayton tradition, in Horne Square. People can also partake in free snow cones or purchase items from a variety of food trucks.
Once the Street Festival wraps at 9 p.m., be sure to stick around for the Fireworks. The show is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m., weather permitting. Fireworks are launching from Clayton High School, and there are viewing locations throughout the Town, including Main Street.
