Clayton Police Serve Holiday Joy to Those in Need

This holiday season, the Clayton Police Department brought joy and hope to children, families, and seniors in need through its annual Christmas with a Cop program. With support from Walmart and generous community contributions, officers and staff delivered gifts to those facing challenges during the year.

The program included a special visit to Wake Medical Center Children’s Hospital where 75 gift bags brought smiles to young patients and their families. Officers also delivered 12 large gift baskets to residents at Springbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gabriel Manor Assisted Living Center, The Clayton House, and Clayton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, spreading cheer to seniors in our community.

In addition, Christmas gifts were provided to 16 children and six families in Clayton, thanks to the hard work of our officers, support staff, their families, and community volunteers.

These heartfelt efforts reflect the department’s commitment to making a meaningful impact and spreading the true joy of the season throughout our community.
