Downtown Clayton Sparkles at the 34th Annual Christmas Village and Tree Lighting

The Town of Clayton kicks off the holiday season with festive cheer and community spirit at the 34th Annual Downtown Clayton Christmas Village and Tree Lighting. Thousands of residents and visitors gathered on Main Street to celebrate, despite the freezing temperatures and brisk winds.

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance, delighting children and families, while downtown businesses opened their doors for a holiday open house. Christmas activities and attractions filled the streets, including a popular trackless train ride that winds through the crowd and performances from local schools, dance groups, and entertainers. Food trucks also offered a variety of tasty treats, ensuring no one went hungry while enjoying the festivities.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the 2024 Christmas Spirit Award to Ann Austin (Ms. Ann), a beloved member of the community who helped flip the switch during the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Town Square, making the night truly sparkle. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to help make this event a huge success. We’re so proud to kick off the holiday season with our wonderful community!
