Hometown Favorite Headlines Next Downtown Clayton Concert

Get ready to tune into the harmonious magic of a Clayton native who’s hitting all the right notes. Please join us for the third show of the Downtown Clayton Concert Series from 6 – 9 p.m., Thursday, August 15 in Town Square (110 West Main St., Clayton).  

Be sure to bring your own blanket or chair to this free outdoor event. Activities start at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy food trucks, adult beverages, and a bounce house for the kids.  

Opening the night is Amy Jae, a songwriter group from Benson, North Carolina, known for their authentic country sound blended with southern soul.  

We’re thrilled to welcome back Kennedy Fitzsimmons, a Clayton High School graduate. She’s headlining the evening and returning with Woody James as Carolina Pine. This dynamic duo, formed after a chance encounter and shared love for original, gritty country music, has released one successful song after another, capturing the spirit of Willie and Waylon’s style. Over the last several years, they’ve traveled and performed from Tennessee to Illinois.
