Inclement Weather Closure
• No water or electric outages have been reported
• No weather-related incidents have been reported by Fire or Police
• Crews continue treating roads in preparation for safer travel later
While conditions may look calm right now, roads remain deceptively dangerous. The lack of incidents so far is largely due to people staying off the roads. We strongly urge everyone to continue doing so. Now is not the time to travel, unless absolutely necessary.
Road crews are actively treating streets, but conditions can change quickly, especially in the evening hours. Please allow crews time to work and stay home if at all possible.
⚠️ Important clarification about outage reporting:
You do NOT need to text “POWER” or “WATER” to receive updates. All customers are automatically enrolled to receive outage notifications.
Texting “POWER” or “WATER” to 919-553-1530, calling that number, or reporting online is only for reporting an outage. When you do this, a crew is dispatched, so please only use these options if you are experiencing an actual outage.
